Private Tour of New Kent Winery $35/person, includes lunch - Departing from Belle Mount Vineyards, Warsaw, VA Get a sneak preview of the New Kent Vineyards project before the Grand Opening of New Kent Winery. Join other wine lovers as we relax on the bus for the drive to New Kent County. Once there we will be treated to a private tour of the vineyards, winery and grounds, plus a gourmet box lunch. Visitors to the winery will be able to tour the nearly completed 12,000-square-foot facility and learn about the winemaking process before sampling New Kent vintages at a horseshoe-shaped wine bar.
Overlooking vineyards and lakes, the New Kent Winery is a state-of-the-art facility with recycled timbers, bricks, and other old-world materials from structures well over 100 years old. The walls of the Winery are made from more than 100,000 pre-Civil War era bricks that were molded in wooden frames by hand. You are bound to enjoy many architectural elements of this charming new-old winery. The facility is located in historic New Kent County, between Richmond and Colonial Williamsburg.
